In 1916 George Eaton began oiling the dusty streets and roadways of Northern Kentucky. George died in 1949 turning Eaton Oil Works over to George B. Eidson. As a prominent bituminous (asphalt) materials businessman, Eidson changed the name to Eaton Asphalt Paving Co. and helped mold the business into what it is today; a preferred contractor for heavy highway and commercial construction projects in the northern Kentucky area.
As the company celebrates 101 years of business this construction season, Eaton crews work on 536 Park, local municipality projects, KY Transportation Cabinet resurfacing work, AA (Maysville) and I-75. A few notable projects completed by the Eaton team in the past few years have been CVG Airport Fast Park, Costco Site Package, Florence Mall, Crestview Hills Mall, I-75 widening and Fidelity Investments Campus Paving. Due to company’s vast range of projects, the odds are high that you are traveling on Eaton work each day you navigate the NKY landscape.

Each year we bring all of our construction crews in to do in person training on basic safety procedures. Additionally, we provide courses that are broken down into their own categories (i.e. Paving and Milling). With an environment that promotes safety and continuous learning, our crews will work with safety as their first concern.
